Buyer agreement summary
The system distinguishes provisional auction leadership, a confirmed winner after premium payment, and a later order balance default.
Buyers must be 18 or older, verify email, complete their profile, accept the current policies, and save a valid payment card. Eligibility activates automatically; staff does not manually approve routine registrations.
You set a private maximum and XurpBid raises the public price only as needed. Bids are binding. Published increments, server time, soft close, premium, deadlines, and pickup rules are frozen for each auction.
The provisional highest bidder authorizes the published buyer premium, 8% by default, to be charged automatically. XurpBid cannot guarantee card funds in advance. A definitive failure can move qualification to the next bidder; an ambiguous result pauses for reconciliation.
After the premium succeeds, the winner reviews the exact tax-inclusive balance and explicitly chooses a saved-card charge, Stripe Checkout, or payment in person. A saved-card balance charge has a separate consent and bounded reconciliation. The full balance must be confirmed by the deadline before release.
After an order is confirmed, a later balance or pickup default does not transfer the sale to the second bidder. The paid premium can be forfeited without refund, the account can be suspended, and XurpBid can relist the goods, subject to applicable law.
Condition labels and manifests describe available information, not a unit-by-unit guarantee. Photos, counts, models, packaging, value, and manifests may vary. Review all listing information before bidding.
Stripe stores card credentials. XurpBid stores processor references and limited card display details, not full card numbers. Private maximums, personal information, payment records, full warehouse details, and internal audits remain restricted.
